In accordance with PCHS policy, Prom-goers will not be allowed to leave and then re-enter the building after arriving for Grand March. A one hour period of time will be given for Prom-goers to change for Post Prom activities. All Post Prom attendees must be checked in by 12:30AM. Should Prom-goers need items from vehicles during Grand March, Prom, or Post Prom, they will be escorted by a chaperone.
Students are not excused from school for Prom preparations. Any student who misses school to prepare for Prom (tanning appointments, hair, fittings, etc.) may not be allowed to attend. Students who dropped out of school are not allowed to attend. A signed guest pass must be turned into the office and approved by Administration for all guests who do not currently attend Pine City High School.
Prom is one event; students are required to be present at dinner in order to participate in later events.
School dress code does apply for Prom; students should not wear hats or sunglasses. Students’ dress and overall etiquette should be appropriate for the public school setting. Dress is formal. Gentlemen shall wear tuxedos or suits with ties. Ladies shall wear appropriate evening dresses or dress suits. Anyone dressed inappropriately will NOT be admitted to the Prom. Students who violate the dress code will not be allowed to participate in Prom events.
If you have any questions regarding the dress code, Prom, Post Prom, Grand March, Pictures, Dinner menu, or want to get a dress check, please contact the Advisors.
