Allowed: Strapless formal dresses, spaghetti type straps, backless formal dresses, tea length/short formal party dresses.
Not allowed: Low cut fronts, body cut outs on the front of the dress, skirt slits past mid-thigh, see through fabric or netting above the thigh and to the bra line (unless on the back), bare midriffs.
To test for bare midriff (stomach area):
Put arms at your side, if there’s any exposed flesh from the bra line to the tips of your fingers the midriff is bare. (Example: Cut outs below the bra line on the waist area of the front of a dress exposing the flesh.)
Examples: Appropriate because the necklines fall at or above the bra line:
Inappropriate because the necklines fall below the bra line:
Inappropriate because of bare midriff:

Appropriate because the dress slit is mid thigh or lower:
Inappropriate because the dress slit goes above mid thigh:
Appropriate because the mesh does not fall below the bra line in front:

Boys:
Allowed: Suit or tuxedo with shirt and tie or sports coat with dress slacks/shirt and tie and dress shoes.
Not Allowed: No jeans even if dark wash- formal attire must be worn at all times. No tennis shoes- dress shoes only and no hats. (Hats not to be worn during grand march, but can be worn at any other time.)
